When are the 2014 Sochi Olympics?

NBCUniversal’s coverage of the XXII Olympic Winter Games from Sochi, Russia will commence on Thursday, February 6 and run through Sunday, February 23.

Primetime coverage for the 2014 Sochi Olympics begins Thursday, February 6, one night before the Friday, February 7 Opening Ceremony. This is the first time NBC has ever aired Olympic primetime coverage before the Opening Ceremony.

With more Winter Olympic events than ever before, the Thursday primetime broadcast is scheduled to include competition in snowboard slopestyle (men’s and women’s), in which two-time gold medalist Shaun White is expected to compete in the slopestyle’s Olympic debut; team figure skating, which is also in the Olympics for the first time; and women’s freestyle moguls.

What are your favorite Olympic memories? What events are you most looking forward to watching this year?
