Week 10 College Football TV Schedule

It’s a big week for College Football with major BCS implications. The #1, #2 and #4 teams in the BCS play this week against ranked opponents (and all at the same time).  A loss for any of them could really open up the race for a bunch of one-loss teams. Imagine if all of them lose - we’d be looking at BCS chaos once again!  As usual, I’ll do my best to sort through the mess and figure out the best games for each time slot.  Enjoy your college football Saturday!

Early Game to Watch:  Texas A&M @ Mississippi State (noon ET) While the two SEC West heavyweights slug it out in Baton Rouge, the Aggies and Bulldogs will play second fiddle in Starkville. If LSU does upset Alabama, the winner of this game still holds an outside chance to play for the SEC title in Atlanta, and that would make Texas A&M QB Johnny “Football” Manziel very happy.

Other Games to Watch: Missouri @ Florida (noon ET) Oklahoma @ Iowa State (noon ET) TCU @ West Virginia (3:00pm ET)

Midday Game to Watch: Pittsburgh @ Notre Dame (3:30pm ET) Notre Dame had a huge win last week at Oklahoma and are officially in the soft spot of their schedule after a grueling stretch of games. The Irish better not overlook the Panthers though. Pitt has played decent football by Big East standards . This one has trap game written all over it (just ask FSU fans!). It’s never easy being a big favorite coming off a huge win. I’ll be pulling for Notre Dame to survive this one and stay in the BCS picture.

Other Games to Watch: Texas @ Texas Tech (3:30pm ET) Nebraska @ Michigan State (3:30pm ET) Penn State @ Purdue (3:30pm ET)

Late Game to Watch: Alabama @ LSU (7:00pm ET) What more can be said about this game that hasn’t already been said 1,000 times. In light of that, I’m going to throw out a crazy prediction for how this game and the rest of the season will unfold. LSU upsets Alabama in this game and goes on to win the SEC Championship. Alabama slips to 5th in the polls. Oregon, Kansas State and Notre Dame end up losing one game each and our National Championship game is a rematch of LSU and Alabama. Is this crazy?  Unfortunately not.

Other Games to Watch: Oklahoma State @ Kansas State (8:00pm ET) SMU @ UCF (7:00pm ET) Oregon @ USC (7:00pm ET) Arizona State @ Oregon State (10:30pm ET)

What games are you watching this week?
