Please enjoy this month’s five recent videos that deserve watching. As usual, they vary from funny to bizarre to breathtaking. You’ll find that, in most cases, thousands of others have felt the same way. So take a look at the latest installment of Videos You Just Have to See!
1- Do You Remember Your First Taste of Root Beer?
Little Noah has never had root beer before, or any sodas. His reaction to his first taste of the tingly, spiced drink is adorable and reminds us of the innocence of youth and the fun of trying something for the first time.
2 – 37,000 Feet Up – JUMP!
Jhonathan Florez broke four records in one jump from a plane and all it took was leaping from 37,265 feet up. Florez, 29, made the jump from a plane high above Columbia. He set records for longest duration wingsuit jump (over nine minutes), greatest horizontal distance flown in a wingsuit (over 16 miles at speeds up to 100mph), highest elevation for a wingsuit jump, and longest absolute distance.
3 – Truth or Dare?
This project was described by the creator as an attempt “to get New York more out of its shell.” As she says in the video, “To make New York a little more friendly, I took the middle school approach and organized a massive game of truth or dare.” The results, caught on video, are both revealing and amusing.
4 – The Sky Is Falling!
On one day in June, the hail falling in Texas made the saying “the sky is falling” less of an idiom and more of a literal description. This amateur video captures the massive balls of ice plunging from the sky into her pool.
5 – Sportsmanship on Display
It’s always nice to hear a story about a great display of sportsmanship. This time, we have the video proof, as an Ohio high school track competitor stopped to carry another runner, who had collapsed, across the finish line. Meghan Vogel is the hero here, as she helped Arden McMath complete the 3,200 meter race during the Ohio state high school track meet.
