Videos You Just Have to See!

Please enjoy this month’s five recent videos that deserve watching. As usual, they vary from funny to bizarre to breathtaking. You’ll find that, in most cases, thousands of others have felt the same way. So take a look at the latest installment of Videos You Just Have to See!

1- Kids Lip-Sync Gotye hit

These two kids are so engaging as they lip-sync the Gotye hit “Somebody I Used To Know” that you will find yourself hooked. The multitude of angles and variety of recordings, as they sit in the backseat of a car lip-syncing, really adds to the engagement factor. Star duo in the making?

2- Ridiculously Automated Dorm

Derek Low’s “BRAD”  (Berkley Ridiculously Automated Dorm) is a technological attention-grabber. Low, a freshman at UC Berkley, “set out to create the most ridiculously automated dorm room in the school ever. Three months and several hundred dollars later, BRAD has been completed.” From opening curtains to dimming lights to going into “Emergency Party” mode, BRAD has it covered.

3 -The Rise of One World Trade Center

Spanning over seven years of video, this 2-minute time-lapse video shows One World Trade Center rise from Ground Zero, ultimately becoming the tallest building in New York City.

4 – TapTronic – Remixing Music With Your Feet

This is a new one for me, music “remixed” by live tap dancers. The duo, both World competition medalists in Irish dance,  uses the rapid, rhythmic beats of tap dancing to enhance and create a sound unlike anything you’ve heard.

5 – Game of Thrones Gets Lego’d

HBO’s latest hit series, Games of Thrones, gets the Lego treatment in this elaborate video. Using the world famous blocks, the filmmaker gives the show’s opening sequence a new Lego-look. Fans and non-fans alike will find this pretty amazing.
