Videos You Just Have to See!

Each month, I’ll present five recent videos that deserve watching. They’ll vary from funny to bizarre to breathtaking. You’ll find that, in most cases, thousands of others have felt the same way. So take a look at the latest installment of Videos You Just Have to See!

1 – Flying Robots Play James Bond Theme Song

Without humans controlling them, these flying robot quadrotors play various instruments to perform the James Bond Theme. Instead of a person using a remote control, they accomplish the task under the control of a computer that has been programmed with instructions. How very Bond-like!

2 – Young Girl Preps for the NFL Combine

Our “cute” video this time around features a young girl who is already preparing for her NFL Combine tryout – the time of year when college players try to prove themselves to NFL teams. With dad behind the camera, Grace performs workout drill after workout drill as she watches NFL-hopefuls on TV participating in the real combine. I would have been tired about 30 seconds in, but this well-conditioned young girl just keeps going!

3 – Biking Down Crazy Urban Obstacle Course

Rider Marcelo Gutierrez straps a point-of-view camera on and heads down a fear-inducing urban obstacle course in Columbia. If you watch this and want to do it yourself, you might be a touch crazy or extremely adventurous.

4 – Glowing in the Snow on the French Alps

Pro snowboarder William Hughes travels the French Alps after dark in this beautiful video created by fashion photographer and filmmaker Jacob Sutton. Hughes is wearing an LED-covered suit from designer and electronics whiz John Spatcher. This is one surreal, snowy journey.

5 — Boom Goes the Bridge!

The 84-year-old Fort Steuben Bridge, which had connected commuters between Ohio and West Virginia until cars were no longer allowed to use it starting in 2009, meets its demise at the hands of a demolition team. Shot in high resolution, this video shows the 1,584-foot bridge collapse in a heap as more than 100 pounds of explosives take it down.
