Service to Mankind Award Presented to Brian Aungst

On Thursday, June 20, Brian Aungst, Sr., Corporate Senior Director, Government and Public Relations, became the newest recipient of the 2013 Service to Mankind Award presented by the Clearwater All American Sertoma Club.

The Clearwater All American Sertoma Club was proud and pleased to present Aungst with their Service to Mankind Award for his past and current involvement and support of many organizations including:

  • Hospice of the Suncoast
  • Clearwater for Youth
  • Honor Flight
  • Humane Society
  • Abilities Foundation
  • Pinellas County Education Foundation
  • The Salvation Army
  • Special Olympics and
  • YMCA of the Suncoast.

Aungst has been honored before for his involvement with and active support of charitable organizations and activities, including the Frederick E Fisher Humanitarian Award, Presented by Clearwater for Youth- presented in honor of lifetime dedication and contribution toward the development and growth of youth activities, and a commendation from Jeb Bush as a Recipient of the Able Trust-Florida Governors Alliance for the Employment of Disabled Citizens-Media Award Winner.

Aungst has helped all these organizations while serving as a senior executive with more than 20 years of innovative and progressive management and leadership experience in both private and public sector organizations, including six years as Mayor of Clearwater, Florida.
