Safety First at Livonia’s Passport to Safety

Once again, Bright House Networks was proud to participate and sponsor the Livonia’s Passport to Safety held on Saturday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Livonia Police and Fire Stations in Livonia, Michigan. This event was open to the public with free admission.

Making new friends with PAWS, the mascot for the Detroit Tigers.

The annual safety event is a collaborative effort with area businesses and nine fire and police stations teaching kids the importance of being safe overall, how to use 911, what to do in the event of a fire, how to be safe on their bicycles, water safety and online safety tips.

From the media advisory – “The event brings together area experts to teach Metro Detroit families about a variety of safety issues in a fun and educational setting.”

In addition to the Detroit Tigers mascot, PAWS, other special appearances were made by Andy the Ambulance, Sparky the Fire Dog and Rock $tar Saver.

This year’s event as in year’s past, was a lot of fun for families and provided kids and their parents with valuable information.
