Replenishing Neighborhood Food Pantries in Detroit

Bright House Networks employees delivered food to three Farmington Hills Department of Special Services food pantries in the Detroit area on December 14, as part of its 12 Days of Giving campaign.  Vision’s School, St. Al’s and The Neighborhood House at the John Grant Center were all very thankful for the food donation.

“We are very fortunate to be part of Bright House Networks 12 Days of Giving. The food donated is going to help many, many families in the area,” said Todd Lipa of the Farmington Hills Department of Special Services.  “Bright House Networks is our best friend with so much support over the years.  We’d like to thank you all.”

Bright House Networks’ 12 Days of Giving campaign was designed to support charitable organizations in its local communities that are focused on helping the military, homeless, hungry and children.  During the 12 days, which ran from December 1-12, Bright House Networks posted a different picture of an item in need on its Facebook page. The items ranged from razors for military personnel to baby formula and diapers for children.  For every person who shared the photo of the day, Bright House Networks committed to donate that same number of items to a charity in each of its local communities.

How are you giving back to your community this holiday season?
