Let the awards begin! Bright House Networks is teaming up with local Chambers of Commerce in the Tampa business community to host the first annual Regional Business Awards. Nominations for the awards, which will honor outstanding businesses throughout the Tampa community, are now being accepted through October 11.

The Chambers of Commerce in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, Manatee and Sarasota counties are working together with Bright House Networks in this inaugural event connecting local businesses in a celebration of best-in-class.

Nominations are being accepted in four categories:

  • small business (5-25 employees);
  • medium business (26-100 employees);
  • large business (101-500 employees);
  • and start-up (1-3 years in business).

Bright House Networks will award prizes totaling more than $1,000,000, including commercial TV production, air time, customer newsletter, feature news story and cash. Interested companies can enter online or by contacting a participating chamber of commerce for more information.

Winning businesses will be honored at a celebratory dinner event on February 27, 2014 at the Hilton Tampa Downtown.

  1. We are a startup that has created a solution for heel pain from plantar fasciitis (pf). Over 100 Million people get PF every year, and we submitted a provisional patent on our solution December of 2011. After working under the radar, we then raised some funding and officially created the public part of the company on May 29, 2012. Are we still eligible?

    • Great question, Gregor! Yes, you are eligible for the Regional Business Awards. A team member will be in touch with you directly. Thanks for reading House2House and all the best to you and your business!

  2. I am trying to get information about the RBA but your website must be experiencing technical issues. I have reached out to my local Chamber but was hoping you could assist me in finding the rules and the application. We are extremely proud of our efforts to help those with hearing loss in the Tampa Bay area. Our business has been serving our community for almost 40 years and we now have two offices. One in St. Pete and the other in Largo.

    Can you help direct me please?

    Yours for better hearing,

    Audrey Hawley

    • Thanks Audrey for reaching out to us and for serving the local community for so many years! We will be in touch with the information you’re requesting soon. All the best!
