Bright House Networks is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Orlando Science Center’s Cosmic Golf Challenge for the for the past three decades – 10 years as Bright House Networks and 20 years as its predecessor company. A bit of golf, science and community involvement rolled into one, this event will take place at the Grand Cypress Golf Club on Thursday, March 28.

Taking a great shot and supporting Science is John Brereton of Sather Construction.

Bright House Networks is thrilled to continue its involvement in the Cosmic Golf Challenge because all of the proceeds go toward the science center’s educational programs. The live programming and exhibit experiences that result spark children’s curiosity and encourage them to see the impact that science, technology, engineering and math have on their lives and future career opportunities.

For three decades, Bright House Networks has helped raise vital funds for the Orlando Science Center through events like the Cosmic Golf Challenge. Our participation helps the Science Center achieve its goal: to inspire science learning for life for the 385,000 guests it sees annually.

During the Cosmic Golf Challenge, corporate teams and individual players will come together to swing for science over 18 holes of four-person scramble tournament play. The Grand Cypress Golf Club’s New Course and South/East Course will both be open to golfers. Players will enjoy lunch, dinner, an awards ceremony, prize drawings and more.

This year, hole-in-one prizes include the chance to win a car from Don Reid Ford and an 8-day golf trip for two to Hawaii. Participants can also purchase raffle tickets for exciting prizes like a “Stay & Play” at the Grand Cypress Golf Club, tickets to SeaWorld and a garage makeover from the Container Store. Two Orlando Predator Prowler Dancers will be on hand selling raffle tickets as well as participating in photo ops and meet-and-greets with guests.

The Cosmic Golf Challenge is open to the public. Foursomes and individual spots are still available. Fees are $2,000 for a foursome and $550 for a single player. Your registration includes lunch, dinner, cart rental and 18 holes of golf.
