Editor’s note: This summer we will be “On the Road” with our friends from History. We are grateful to Dr. Libby O’Connell and her team for sharing their expertise and knowledge with us about Florida history. Please enjoy the above video and learning more about the Kissimmee Air Museum.
On the Road at the Kissimmee Air Museum: During World War II, Kissimmee Air Base was the top secret training center for the classified stealth bomber. Today it exhibits a fascinating collection of aviation history, from a 1944 “Mustang” to the last working Aerocars . You have to see this to believe it!
