I Scream! You Scream! We all Scream for Ice Cream!

Here’s the Scoop! Remember the good old days when everyone in the community got together to celebrate a special day? Bright House Networks is partnering with Magnify Credit Union, The Ledger Media Group, Hall Communications (Big 4 Radio) and the City of Lakeland to re-create that old fashioned neighborhood experience with the 1st Annual Florida Ice Cream Festival on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Joker Marchant Stadium at Tiger Town in Lakeland, Florida.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Magnify Life Foundation and its efforts to be a leader in environmental awareness, financial literacy, community involvement and the Detroit Tigers Foundation of Florida. With 7,000-10,000 attendees anticipated at this inaugural event, we hope this will become the largest ice cream festival in the United States!

  1. The meaning of the phrase “ice cream” varies from one country to another. Phrases such as “frozen custard”, “frozen yogurt”, “sorbet”, “gelato” and others are used to distinguish different varieties and styles. In some countries, such as the United States, the phrase “ice cream” applies only to a specific variety.
