Helping the Local Food Bank in Clearwater

As part of its 12 Days of Giving, Bright House Networks helped to make the holidays a little happier this season for those in need as it delivered a check to RCS Food Bank on December 12 to help them purchase healthy and nutritious food for people in the Clearwater community that do not have enough to eat this season.

Bright House Networks team member Susan Juhl delivers a check to RCS Food Bank to help those in need of food this holiday season.

Bright House Networks’ 12 Days of Giving campaign was designed to support charitable organizations in its local communities that are focused on helping the military, homeless, hungry and children.  During the 12 days, which ran from December 1-12, Bright House Networks posted a different picture of an item in need on its Facebook page. The items ranged from razors for military personnel to baby formula and diapers for children.  For every person who shared the photo of the day, Bright House Networks committed to donate that same number of items to a charity in each of its local communities.

RCS thanked Bright House Networks in its blog, saying they were coming off a record-breaking November of serving the community and found December’s cupboards a little bare.
