Happy Diwali or Festival of Lights

Diwali or Festival of Lights is one of the few festivals that is celebrated among South Asians worldwide, and is one of the most popular events in India. Although the stories and traditions behind Diwali vary across the globe (fireworks, lights, sharing of sweets), the purpose is the same – to rejoice in the inner light.

Diwali started yesterday, November 13, and continues for a period of five days.

Do you celebrate Diwali? What plans do you have to rejoice in the inner light this year?
