Going Above and Beyond the Call of Duty

An elderly Bright House Networks customer called in to tell us about John, one of our service technicians.  John was driving by when he saw this customer trying to change a tire on the side of the road.  Seeing that the man needed assistance, John insisted on changing the tire himself.  As they were talking, the customer let John know that he noticed that his DVR had been making an odd noise, but hadn’t had a chance to contact us about his concern.  After changing the customer’s tire, John went above and beyond and drove directly to the customer’s home to also change the DVR out for him on the spot.  Later that day, the customer called us to share his appreciation and said, “John is a great asset to Bright House Networks.  If Bright House Networks’ employees are all like John, then this is the kind of company I would want to work for.”
