We appreciate teachers! To prove it, we are launching our newly named Bright House Networks 21st Century Star Teacher Awards. The program will recognize and reward the best of the best educators of the 21st century this year.

We’re looking for teachers from all across the Bright House Networks’ service areas to compete for thousands of dollars in cash prizes and be recognized in their local communities. For a fourth consecutive year, A&E Television Network is sharing their love of teachers as Lead Sponsor of the program.

It’s no secret that Bright House Networks has had a long-standing commitment to supporting educational excellence. In fact, for the last two decades, we’ve recognized and rewarded educators who develop creative learning experiences using cable programming to innovate and invigorate the quality of education in our communities.

To further show you we’re pretty serious about education, we are a founding member of Cable in the Classroom (CIC), the cable industry’s education foundation. Since 1989, Bright House Networks has been providing cable connections and basic cable service to schools.
